Fit and finish
Camino is a more uniform, more resilient leather. Colour and grain stay more consistent between units. The patina develops more slowly. Scuffs in the first months of use are normal. They blend into the finish.
Using it
The clasp. The magnetic clasp is removable. Take it off if you want the folio without it.
Fitting a lanyard. Thread it through one of the external attachment points, loop the strap through, and pull tight. There is also an internal anchor for Nomad's Wrist Strap.
Leather care. Nomad recommends Ashland Leather Co Leather Conditioner. Scuffs and marks are the patina starting, not a fault.
Warranty
Nomad gives a 2-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.
Covered: manufacturing and workmanship defects. Faults in how the folio was built.
Not covered: normal wear and tear, cosmetic ageing, scratches and scuffs from everyday use, damage caused by dropping the folio, misuse, and any modification of the product. Leather that has developed a patina has done its job, and that isn't a defect.

- Camino develops a patina more slowly and is a more resilient leather, vegetable and chrome tanned at Ecco in Denmark. Horween is a more natural leather that develops a patina quicker and is more prone to scratches and marks, vegetable-tanned by hand in Chicago the traditional way since 1905.
- Will the leather change?
- Yes. Camino develops a patina more slowly. Marks still become part of the finish, over a longer time.
- How do I attach a lanyard?
- Thread it through an external attachment point, loop the strap through, and pull tight. The internal anchor takes Nomad's Wrist Strap.
- How do I take the clasp off?
- The magnetic clasp is removable. Take it off if you want the folio without it.
- My leather is marked. Is that covered?
- No. The warranty covers manufacturing defects, not wear and tear. A patina is the leather working as intended.
